Hello gents - First, Eddie, this is not hockey related, but a shoutout to you for the afghan on the back of the sofa! I am child of the 70s and that design is straight out of the 70s, and I mean that in a good way. Thank you for a stroll down memory lane! Brought back a lot of memories! Mega kudos!

While listening to you both converse about the what the roster may look like next year, I was reminded about Jagr's goal and carrying the series against the Devils to allow for the additional cash flow when it was desperately needed. Very shortly after he was traded, they were staring a rebuild right in the face. Fleury in 2003. Malkin in 2004 after losing the lottery to the Caps, although I feel the Pens got the better of that deal overall after losing out on Ovechkin. Then the ping pong ball in 2005 and the rights to draft Sid. We haven't seen a rebuild since that time. A lot of work to do and a lot of decisions to make. My take - I haven't seen much improvement since FSG took over. Hiring Dubas now seems like a question mark after he got fired by Toronto. The jury is out on a lot of issues. I haven't seen a situation like this since the Pens were getting into position to draft Mario. That's 40 years ago. Lots of questions to be answered. Thank you for reading my drivel, guys. Have a good one!
