Hi guys, sorry so late to the party. Again. Life happens. With regards to number retiring and statues, I recall that team in the early 90s and how loaded they were. All those Hall of Famers and the only numbers retired are Lemieux and Jagr. I do see Crosby, Malkin, and Letang getting theirs retired and Fleury's should be. Just my opinion.

As for the celebrations - I'm old school. Full disclosure. So if I have the opportunity to stop you, I will. And you won't like it. Dial up videos of Jack Lambert. He didn't tolerate anything. And he is a fan favorite and the favorite of a lot of fans from that era. As always, gents, great stuff!

My dad’s favorite Jack Lambert story to tell me growing up was when Cliff Harris tapped Roy Gerela’s helmet and Lambert came over and dumped Harris. So I know exactly what you mean lol. Good stuff Rich!

I used to feel that way Dusty, and I understand the thinking behind it. But lately I’ve come to the conclusion that sport is the one place you can be a little bit of a jerk and not get in trouble for it. I think if guys or girls want to celebrate or show off a bit, they should be able to, but they also need to remember that someone might react. But like I said in the show, I know I’m probably on an island or in the minority lol. Appreciate you listening and commenting!

I guess its a matter of what you like to see from professional athletes but I like to see humble, respectful players that don't show up their opponents, which is what Greig did. Great podcast btw. Good discussion.
