Hey gents, great content as always! Even an old school guy like me enjoys learning new things from you young men. Thank you! Gonna throw something out here and if either one, or both, of you wishes to respond, please do. Yes, we saw this coming. Nonetheless, I am wondering where ownership is on all of this because it feels to me as if since FSG purchased the franchise, things have not been close to where they were when Mario and Burkle were in control. I know many have a lot of heat on Sullivan. But this is an old team, and old teams don't win championships. And given the friction between FSG and Mario, it just feels like something is seriously off. Thanks!

Do you think the Pens could get Nick Robertson from the Leafs for Eller and something maybe a pick or Ruhwedel? They sent Robertson back to the minors because he hasn’t claimed a position yet and he can clear waivers. Also I think Robertson is one of Dubas’s guys…

I’d love it if they did, I’m a big Nick Robertson fan, but I don’t see it happening. I don’t think the Leafs will move him unless it’s for a top pair right shot defensemen. They dressed 6 left handed D the other night so that’s Toronto’s biggest need. Would be great to see Dubas bring Robertson in, but it’s a long shot IMO.

I’ve held a theory after this year looked a lot like last year that everyone knows exactly what the problem is inside the organization but won’t talk about it publicly. Jake leaving is the second largest product of that aside from the team’s overall play and more specifically power play. It isn’t most of the players since so much of the roster turned over, it isn’t the GM because there’s a new one, it isn’t the core or the goaltending. I would have understood firing all of the coaches earlier this season but at the same time, my theory is that there’s also something else going on. You fire the coach because as they say, you can’t fire the whole team. But I still think it’s something else that’s actually at the heart of things, I’m just not sure what that is. I guess that really just leaves some kind of locker room rift, but maybe I’m looking too deep into it.

I also see Jake not resigning as his desire to prove he’s not a product of Crosby. I don’t think he is. But I do think he’ll score about 5 goals less per year after leaving. Gotta at least account for that Crosby advantage. I’m also looking forward to a potential Tommy Gunn vs Rocky Balboa game next year. “We was supposed to be like this, Jake!”

Totally sickening that management would break up the gang like this. Guentzel is Crosby's best winger ever. How do they think that's going to make the Captain FEEL? Don't they realize all these guys are friends and have so much fun together?

The least Dubas & Co. could do is pay for therapy and host an ice cream party. They've earned it. Ts & Ps during this emotional time.

I’m gonna need therapy after this season. Hopefully I can get in on that too!
